SUMMARY

Agnes Barton is not your typical senior. She drives a red, hot Mustang, shops at Victoria’s Secret, and has a knack for sticking her nose where it does not belong.

When tourist Jennifer Martin disappears, Agnes makes it her personal mission to find the woman herself, enlisting the aid of her best friend, and partner in crime, Eleanor Mason. The pair does not waste any time and drive to the crime scene. It did not surprise Agnes that the Sheriff’s Department is not taking the woman’s disappearance seriously; they had a long history of non-action that started the year before when Agnes’ granddaughter disappeared. Sheriff Peterson is not happy she is meddling again, but Agnes could care less what he thought, she is on the case.

Amateur sleuths Agnes and Eleanor are an odd pair, while Agnes considers herself as conservative, Eleanor makes it impossible with her antics. They are not letting the fact that they are seniors get in the way either. Before long, the pair has more on their hands to contend with as bullets begin to fly.
